Pastor: thank you so much for your feedback on seeking a church by resume and how to act. Secondly, thank you much on the issue of license. I have be under my pastor for 21 years, I am licensed, but not ordained. I have be a good soldier in ministry over these years, and have achieved much in academics; M-Div, MSW, and D-Min, however, still not ordained. My pastor believes in ordination only if called to a church; I hurt sometimes in my heart when I hear my peers in seminary and other ministers tell me their pastors ordained them: I desire to be ordained by the one I have sat under, it would be an honor.
In terms of pastoring, your feedback help me; being ready is important, and I am not getting any younger.
