|The New Life Baptist Church (NLBC) of Lacey, Washington, founded in June of 1975, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor, called by God, who will serve as spiritual leader of God’s people. The Senior Pastor is Servant-Leader, Teacher, Challenger, Trainer, Initiator, Counselor and overall Visionary for the Church. He shall structure the process for the casting and implementation of vision for the church, while providing leadership and supervision for implementing such vision through the Board of Directors and various ministries of the church. The Senior Pastor is the leader of the church and is responsible for leading the church to the fulfillment of its mission in accordance with the teaching of the Holy scriptures, Church covenant, and Evangelistic principles necessary for discipleship and the winning of lost souls. The Senior Pastor is the final authority on all pulpit matters. This position regularly and customarily involves the exercise of sound judgment and discretion.|

The candidate must be a licensed and ordained minister, have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited seminary (master of divinity preferred), and have five years of pastoral ministry experience. The person must also be responsible to God and the Church to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the Bible, to provide Christian leadership in all areas of the church, and to engage in pastoral care of the congregation. The Pastor is accountable to the church congregation. The Pastor’s responsibilities include preaching, teaching, pastoral counseling, performing weddings, funerals, baptisms, planning and guiding the Church to grow and fulfill its purpose as set forth in Matthew 28:18-20.
The Pastor shall have in his care the spiritual and moral welfare of the congregation. The Pastor shall preach the Gospel, support the doctrine of the Church, administer the ordinances and watch over the membership. The Pastor shall have charge of all services of public worship. He shall be an ex-officio member of all Boards and Committees of the Church, its auxiliaries and organizations. The Pastor shall preside at all meetings of the Church, except where good taste and his own involvement dictate otherwise.
The Pastor must possess an extensive and rigorous foundation in the Word of God. The Pastor must be dependable, demonstrate discretion and integrity in all activities and exhibit the character qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:7-9. The Pastor shall be ordained.

Fairlawn Baptist Church, located in Parkersburg, WV, is prayerfully seeking the man God intends to place in our church. We are searching for a man who has a superb prayer life and desires to work with like-minded Christians to do whatever it takes to reach one more soul for Christ. This man should be well versed and support the Baptist Faith and Message. The Senior Pastor of Fairlawn Baptist Church should be a Christ-like man and able to lead a congregation through God’s word. As Senior Pastor, you would be responsible for preaching/teaching, leadership of the church, and developing meaningful relationships with church members and those in the community. We are looking for someone who will be devoted to prayer and make evangelism and discipleship a priority for our ministry.

Our church began as a bible study in 1969 and in 1970 began the tremendous journey going forward as Fairlawn Baptist Church.
