  3. “The Wire” is a great communications tool pastor! Thank you for the service that you render all across this country! I wish you much success!! You really are an International Preacher!! You are in my prayers!!! Happy New year!

  4. Pastor Houston, my husband has been pastoring 2 part time churches for 20 years and has been searching for a new pastorate. Both churches are small and does not have any modern technology by choice. He’s tried to move these chucrhes into the cyber world with no avail.
He achieved a BA in Biblical Education at a non-accredited school against his knowledge. He only found out that it was not accredited through setting up a Satillite school through our church. He was told by the Professor that it was not accredited after attended the school.
When applying for vacant churches, most are looking for the canditate to be educated in an accredited school. He wasted 4+ years attending this school. He’s now attending college for a MBA in a non-related field. He decided to do this because he we have 2 children going off to college next year.
Is there any way he could move forward in his ministry with another church, without having these requirements or should he have to just find another job outside his pastorate and leave the churches?
I know there are pastors that are led by God but were unable to attend a seminary or bible college. I would like the National Baptist Convention to let the vacant churches know that there are God fearing pastors without a degree in Divinity.

Glad to know you are coming to Metropolis in March. After 19 years in Brooklyn, starting in 2 weeks, I’ll be Pastoring the First Missionary Baptist Church of Metropolis, right down the street from where you’ll be.
    Bless you,
    Rev. Orlando McReynolds Th.D.

  6. Pastor Houston, you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
